OVERVIEW 

Jose Gerardo A. Medina is the Partner-in-Charge of Corporate Practice, Contracts, Investments, Natural Resources, and Information Technology.

He took up law at the University of the Philippines, where he graduated in 1989. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the same university.

Mr. Medina has been in private law practice since 1989 and has concurrently served in various government capacities, including as consultant to the Bureau of Mines of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, City Legal Officer of the City of Pasay, and consultant to the National Economic and Development Authority for the Mining Industry Coordinating Council.

He is a member of the Philippine Bar Association, a PDRCI-trained arbitrator, and a Past President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas, and Muntinlupa (PPLM) Chapter and the Rotary Club of Parañaque.

Mr. Medina is also an Associate Professor at the Philippine Law School, where he teaches Business Organization and Corporation Law. He currently serves as an Independent Director of the publicly listed company Philippine Infradev Holdings, Inc.
